Eve’s Wheel is a performance that weaves storytelling, painting, sculpture, modern dance and music to re-imagine the myth of Genesis as a mystical story. Part performance art and part installation, this production transports the viewer to a new space and time, weighted by narrative elements and sound, the movements of the performers, a mechanical tree, a painted landscape and enigmatic animal masks. Trauma and magical transformations occur in the garden connecting the archetype of the seductress to the landscape and the collective animal impulses that dwell within all human beings.
The production took shape due to the efforts of the active collaborators including Adrianna Sorondo (narrative, sculpture), Anna Martinez (performance and music), Emily Schellenberg (costumes), Julia Woli Scott (painting/set design), and Yanavey McCloskey (performance).

Partial proceeds will benefit the Fresno Arts Council.
